Mama and Papa Buss

Congratulations to Missy and Dave Buss on the birth of their twin daughters, Courtney Eleanor and Kendall Madalyn, yesterday morning. Coach Buss reports that Missy and the girls are doing well.

The Baseball Banquet

As a reminder, the baseball banquet will be tomorrow evening at Camp Hess Kramer beginning at 6:00 p.m.

To get to Camp Hess Kramer, go north on PCH to Yerba Buena Road. Turn right on Yerba Buena at Neptune's Net. Go up the hill and turn left into Gate #2. Follow the signs or balloons to the banquet location.

The Post-Season Baseball Banquet

The Malibu High Baseball Banquet will be held on June 5th at 6 p.m. at Camp Hess Kramer in Malibu. The cost will be approximatelyl $25 per person.

Please let Coach Gallo know as soon as possible the number of people attending from your family.

Playoff Schedule Change

The first-round playoff game between Malibu and Bonita has been moved from Friday to Thursday. Game time is 3:15 p.m. at Bonita High in La Verne TOMORROW.

To Bonita

Malibu (17-7) will travel to Bonita High (17-7) in La Verne for the first round of the CIF playoffs on Friday, May 16. The Bearcats finished second in the Miramonte League behind Charter Oak.

Oaks Christian will play Santa Ynez tomorrow in a wild-card game. The winner will face top-ranked Patriot in the first round.

Oak Park travels to Sonora High for a first-round game on Friday. Sonora High finished first in the Freeway League.

St. Bonaventure hosts the winner of the Magnolia-La Quinta wild-card game.

Meeting on Wednesday

There will be a meeting on Wednesday, November 14, during lunch for all high school students interested in playing on the Malibu High School baseball team next spring. The meeting will be in Room 204.
