Scouting Report: South East Jaguars

The South East Jaguars enter today’s game at Malibu High with wins against Morningside and North Hollywood and losses to Lawndale and Mary Star. Last season the Jaguars were 7-20 (3-15 in the Eastern League).

The Jaguars return only two seniors this season: third baseman Eduardo Aguilar and first baseman Jose Cavillo. The squad includes four juniors, seven sophomores, and one freshman.

Junior shortstop Jesus Ramirez leads the team in hitting thus far this season with a .571 average. Ramirez also has five stolen bases in as many attempts. Sophomore infielder David Garcia is hitting .417 with three stolen bases.

Jacob Perrin is expected to take the mound for the Sharks today.
